Original Klangfilm T42 Stereo MC step-up transformer
Perfect matched and assembled

This is a matched pair of vintage Klangfilm step up transformers T42/75/1 made in WEST-GERMANY accurately assembled in a nice light grew aluminum case.
Both transformers are in perfect working order and tested with an Ortofon SPU and Ortofon SL15 cartridge.

This is a real MATCHED PAIR:
Input DC resistance / secondary DC resistance :
T42 left   -> 3.33 Ohms / 2649 Ohms
T42 right ->3.34 Ohms / 2652 Ohms
(measured with a calibrated Gossen Metrawatt multi-meter)

This SUT will best matching with low impedance MC cartridges like EMT TSD 15, Ortofon SPU, Suppex SD-900 or Neumann TA.
Of course, any other low to very low impedance moving coil system will match properly.
To prevent potential hum problems each channel can be connected/disconnected from ground by a small internal switch.

depending on the output load resistance you will measure following results of the input impedance and step ratio:
10 kOhm output load resistance: Input impedance 5,4 Ohm -> Step ratio -> 1:25
22 kOhm output load resistance: Input impedance    8 Ohm -> Step ratio -> 1:38
47 kOhm output load resistance: Input impedance  12 Ohm ->  Step ratio -> 1:50
100 kOhm output load resistance: Input impedance 20 Ohm -> Step ratio -> 1:60 (universally option)
